A little about ourselves
Blackbone Farm is located just a half mile south of the Boise River and just outside the city of Notus, Idaho.
In the spring of 2016 my husband and I decided it was time we could begin to make our dream of moving to the country a reality. Our three children were grown with families of their own.
We found a beautiful piece of land in the western part of Canyon County, Idaho. A vision grew and in the late summer of 2016, we began our second family with the purchase of two Irish Dexter cows, (Butters and Fergus). Along with Abby (our Corgi) and our eleven chickens (AKA the girls) and the rooster Bernie we began this adventure.
We love our life in the country, the culmination of a lifetime dream. With God’s guidance we hope to be good stewards of the land and animals we have been blessed with.
